Wisconsin Legislature to Consider Bill to Allow Retailers to Pour Beer Samples

Wisconsin state Sen. Pat Kreitlow thinks that a state better known for its beer than its wine should allow retailers to offer beer samples to customer.

Currently, state law allows retailers to offer 3-ounce wine samples to customers, but not beer. Sen. Kreitlow's bill would allow retailers to offer customers two 3-ounce samples of beer between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m.

The bill could come up for a vote in early May.
