Wow, that's a pretty amazing list (you even got They Might Be Giants!). There are a few songs not on there that are a few of my favorites. If you want MP3s, I can arrange that, hit me up via email(joshm [at] flyingdogales [dot] com).

• Captain Jim's Drunken Dream - James Taylor. It's a tune about someone who lives in the tropics having a tough time adjusting to living in the "real world".

• Raleigh and Spencer - an old-timey prohibition-era tune. It's a bluegrass standard these days.

• Ramblin' In The Rambler - Yonder Mountain String Band. This is a fan favorite, and the band shoots a shot when they get to the line about Jagermeister. It's pretty awesome.

There are more, but these are the ones that come to mind right now. A great list, thanks for sharing!

I have to say "wow" too. What a compilation. You should burn those as a compilation for download! (following all copyright rules, of course...)

I think you're right that Alan Jackson should have made at least the honorable mention for that song and also "Who I Am." They'll be in the running for the next revision!

As for The Pogues, they did get in at #62. They certainly are a fan favorite.

Cheers!

WTF no way you can not have 'Have a drink' on me by AC/DC at number one but to not even have it anywhere on your page is blasphemous.
