Rogue Chocolate Stout was originally created for export to Japan. Rogue Chocolate Stout was released in the U.S. for Valentine’s Day in 2001.
Rogue Chocolate Stout pours dark brown with a mocha colored head. The beer has a roasted grain and chocolate nose. The flavor is dominated by a powerful 69 IBU, with a nice depth of flavor provided by a combination of barley, oats and chocolate. An interesting take on stout.
