America's largest brewer has won the latest round in the on-going international Budweiser trademark dispute. The Anheuser-Busch Cos. won a court ruling in Italy against Czech brewer Budejovicky Budvar.
The court said A-B has rights to the Budweiser brand name in Italy. The company has owned rights to the Budweiser name in the country since 1990. Budejovicky Budvar had recently attempted to register the Budweiser Budbrau and Budweiser Budvar names.
