Dan Whitney, who most people know by his stage name -- Larry the Cable Guy -- is about to get a beer produced in his honor. SchillingBridge Winery & MicroBrewery of Pawnee City, Neb., is moving forward with the Git-R-Done brand, which is the comedian's popular catch phrase.
Whitney grew up in Pawnee City, which is 100 miles south of Omaha, where the beer will be brewed until SchillingBridge expands. The Larry the Cable Guy character became popular through the Blue Collar Comedy Tour and Whitney has appeared in a number of movies.
