Day 8 Drink: Lost Coast Tangerine Wheat Beer
The Lost Coast Brewery and Café opened in 1990, the result of a dream by Barbara Groom, a pharmacist, and Wendy Pound, a family counselor, to run their own brewpub. Since then, the Eureka, Calif., brewery has expanded, adding a production and bottling site nearby the original brewpub that still operates in a 100-year-old building. You can get their beer in more than 20 states.
Lost Coast Tangerine Wheat Beer is a cloudy orange-gold color with a thin white head. There is a prominent orange zest nose and a solid level of citrus in the flavor profile. A very refreshing 5 percent alcohol by volume beer.

It is so ironic that this one was on here. I typed in the search engine 'Percent of alcohol in Lost Coast' and the Tangerine one is what popped up, and of course I have it in my hand as I type. Too good to put down I say! This is a great beer and I have the privileged to live only a few blocks away from this place. They make such wonderful brews! You should also try out the Great White that they carry, another citrus flavored beer that tickles your tongue!
Is there anywhere in Charlotte, NC that I can buy this beer in a 6 pack?
To anonymous: You can buy this beer at Brawley's on Park Rd in Charlotte- for sure!
