Day 298 Drink: Saint Germain Brut Blanc de Blancs
Chateau Saint Germain is not in the Champagne region, so the sparkling wine it makes in Saint-Emilion in Bordeaux cannot be called a "Champagne." But the wine is made using traditional methods and it represents a great value.
Saint Germain Brut Blanc de Blancs is a non-vintage sparkling wine. It is a fairly straight forward wine, with a dry character, hints of apple and a crisp finish.
