
Time for a reality check when it comes to wine in restaurants. Several recent restaurant visits made me feel like a $60 bottle was the least expensive bottle available in America. The reality is much different.
According to Restaurant Wine, a newsletter by Ronn Wiegand that tracks on-premise wine trends, the top 25 brands of wine in American restaurants in 2006 based on volume are:
